Aadhaar Seeding cum Registration Camps from 13th to 17th July, 2015

The Department of Pension and Pensioner’s Welfare will hold five Aadhaar Seeding and Regularisation for pensioners in Delhi NCR in collaboration with Punjab National Bank from 13th to 17th July, 2015. These camps will be held at Rajendra Place, Civil Lines, Scope Tower – Lakshmi Nagar in Delhi and Noida Sector 1 and Neelam Chowk, Faridabad respectively.

Pensioners residing in the Delhi NCR may visit an Aadhaar Camp on any one of the days with original PPO, Aadhaar Card, and bank pass book along with photocopies of these documents.

Pensioners who do not have Aadhaar number yet may in addition carry a photo id like Voters Card. Jeevan Pramaan is in addition to the other existing facilities for submission of Life Certificate. All the Nationalised banks, as also UIDAI will participate in these camps which are proposed to be held later in other parts of the country.

Camp Timings: 9am to 5pm

Pensioners-issues

For implementation of Jeevan Pramaan- an Aadhaar based life certification system – all pensioners are requested to furnish their Aadhaar Numbers to their bank, if not already done. The pensioners who do not have “Aadhaar” are requested to obtain Aadhaar number.

Definition of One Rank One Pension as per Government order issued by MoD (DoESW) : The principle of OROP implies that uniform pension be paid to the Armed Forces Personnel retiring in the same rank with the same length oi service irrespective of their date of retirement and any future enhancement in the rates of pension to be automatically passed on to the past pensioners.

ORDER
As decided in the meeting on OROP chaired by Hon’ble RM on 22.04.14, a Working Group is constituted as follows to finalize the modalities of implementation of OROP based on the principle specified in the previous meeting on OROP held on 26.02.14. 2. The composition of the Working Group would be as follows:
(i) Controller General of Defence Accounts Chairperson
(ii) Jotnt Secretary (SSW) Member
(ill) Joint Secretary (E). Deptt of Defence Member
(iv) Addl. FA (Defiance Finance) Member
(v) Representatives of the three Services Member
(vi) Addl CGDA Member
(vii) PCDA (P). Allahabad Member
3. The Terms of Reference of Working the Group are as follows:-
(i) To examine the proposal on implementation of OROP which was presented by the Services in the meeting on 22.04.14 to enable CGDA to prepare DGL after due deliberation on all aspects.
(ii) To work out the detailed financial implications.
4. CGDA would finalise the DGL and submit it to D/o ESW, MOD along with financial implications thereof within three weeks from the date of this order.

5. Since substantial increase is anticipated in expenditure on OROP, FA (DS) would thereafter seek additional funds as per requirement.

6. This issues with the approval or the Competent Authority.

Sub: – Fixation of stipend for Apprentice JEs selected through LDCE during their training period.

Ref: PNM/AIRF item No.11/ 2013.

All Indian Railwaymen’s Federation have raised the issue regarding fixation of stipend for Apprentice IE5 selected through LDCE during their training period. The issue was discussed in PNM meeting and it has been decided to-reiterate the existing relevant provisions of IREM. In this context, attention is invited to para-1905 (2) of IREM Vol.H (Revised Edition-1990) which stipulates as under:-

“………..Permanent Railway servants on appointment as apprentices in any category may be granted pay equivalent to the rate of stipend laid down for that particular category of Apprentices or their substantive pay as admissible to them from time to time whichever is higher. Temporary railway servants on appointment as apprentices in any category may be granted pay equivalent to the rate of stipend drawn by the Apprentices in their category”.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

Pay hike for government doctors

Pay hike for government doctors

Belagavi (KTK): Karnataka government today announced pay hike in the range of Rs 5,000 to Rs 35,000 to its doctors, with an intention to attract more doctors for government service.

The monthly salary of MBBS or BDS qualified doctors with six years experience has been increased from Rs 54,989 to Rs 59,989, with six to 13 years experience from Rs 63,620 to Rs 68,620, with 13 to 20 years experience from Rs 73,569 to Rs 78,569 and with 20 years from Rs 87,649 to Rs 92,649.

The hike is effective today, Health Minister U TKhader said making the announcement in the Assembly.
Khader said for doctors with post graduate degree or diploma qualification with 6 years experience, the pay has been increased from Rs 59,780 to Rs 84,780, with 6-13 years experience from Rs 70,166 to Rs 95,166 and with 13-20 years experience from Rs 87,919 to Rs 1,12,919.

For Super Speciality Doctors with 6 years experience, the pay has been increased from Rs 62,980 to Rs 92,989, with 6-13 years from Rs 72,466 to Rs 1,02,466 and those with 13-20 years from Rs 84,319 to Rs 1,19,319.

BJP MLA C T Ravi questioned why pay has not been hiked for Ayurveda Doctors.

“Their salary also should be increased, if not it will lead to discrimination. We will have to support Ayurveda, whole world is turning towards Ayurveda,” he said.

Responding to this, Khader said, “I will look into it.

The Indian Railways Technical Supervisors Association(IRTSA) submitted an additional memorandum to 7th Pay Commission recently. The report is highlighted the situation of Group ‘B’ posts in Railways in last 14 years. We just reproduced the matter briefly for your information…

Meagre number of Group ‘B’ posts in Railways

Every department of central Government are increasing the number of gazetted posts for effective & efficient governance, Railways are not doing so inspite of huge need of it on Administrative & functional justifications and requirement thereof.

According to Census of Central Government employees published by Ministry of Labour, between the year 2001 and 2008 number of Group-B employees have increased to the tune of 35.65% from 1,59,517 to 2,47,822 despite of reduction of total number of employees to the tune of 24.5% from 38,76,395 to 31,11,610.
