Sub: Notification of Nodal Officer of Private Health Care Organizations (HCOs) empanelled under CGHS Delhi & NCR.

In compliance with direction of National Human Right Commission (NHRC) and in accordance with Clause No. 9 of Memorandum of Agreement (MOAN, signed between CGHS and Pvt. HCOs. Wherein it is stated that -

“Empanelled Health Care Organizations shall notify two Nodal Officers for CGHS beneficiaries, one of them being of the rank of Deputy MS/Addl. MS, who can be contacted by CGHS beneficiaries in case of any eventuality”.

All the HCOs empanelled under CGHS Delhi/NCR are hereby directed to submit the names of 2 Nodal Officer, who can be contacted at the time of emergency by CGHS beneficiaries. The reply should reach the undersigned, within 7 days.

The names of the Nodal Officer along with the telephone number should be put up on the Admission Counter/Help Desk Counter for the CGHS beneficiaries to take the help in case of any difficulty.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

Subject: Re-use of Disposable items is not permitted in Health Care Organizations empanelled under CGHS
With reference to the above mentioned subject, it has come to the notice that some of the private hospitals are re-using various disposable surgical items particularly in Cardiology though they are meant for single use. The items after one procedure are sterilized and being re-used and are charged full amount of these items. The matter has been viewed by this Ministry seriously and it has been decided to issue this Office Memorandum to clarify that re-use of disposable items particularly in cardiology and other specialties, is not permitted in Health Care Organizations empanelled under CGHS and in case of any complaint in this regard suitable action including withdrawal of CGHS empanelment shall be initiated against defaulters.

OFFICE ORDER
 
  Subject: Regarding extension of validity of empanelment of All Health Care Organizations empanelled under CGHS cities outside Delhi/NCR.

Attention is drawn to the Office Memorandum issued earlier extending validity of empanelment of all health care organizations under CGHS outside Delhi/NCR till 31st October, 2014.

2. It has now been decided to extend the validity of empanelment of all health care organizations already empanelled under CGHS outside DeIhi/NCR, for a further period of 16 days ie. till 16th November, 2014 or till finalization of next empanelment process city-wise. whichever is earlier on same terms and conditions as defined in OM by which they were empanelled earlier.
